IARC Announces Upcoming Meeting and Deadlines for the Evaluation of the Carcinogenicity Benzene Including Quantitative Exposure-Response Relationships



The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) recently announced its plans to evaluate the carcinogenicity of benzene, as well as to consider quantitative exposure-response relationships at an upcoming meeting to be held October 10-17, 2017, in Lyon, France. The following important deadlines for the meeting are listed below:

  • May 15, 2017: Deadline for requesting observer status for attendance to observe the IARC Monograph meeting.
  • September 1, 2017: Closing date for submission of data to IARC.
