ToxStrategies scientists publish case study on the role of RoB in systematic review for chemical risk assessment

ToxStrategies scientists, Dr. Wikoff, Dr. Urban, Ms. Harvey, and Dr. Haws, published a case study on the role of risk of bias in systematic review for chemical risk assessment. Using the relationship between congenital heart defects and exposures to trichloroethylene (TCE) as an example, the case study highlights the utility of risk of bias as part of a robust risk assessment process and demonstrates the role of evaluating study quality in objectively selecting data sets to develop toxicity values.
